Day 2 Two Goals for June
June 2, 1835. P.T. Barnum and his circus started their first tour of the United States.
Do you want to learn to ride an elephant? Or fly on a trapeze? Or juggle fire? What new ills would you like to learn?
Or do you simply want to improve in some area of your lives?
Do you have projects that you’ve started and desire to finish?
Tell us about two goals you hope to achieve this month and how you plan to achieve them.
I don’t have much time this month, since we will be moving any minute, but here are two things I think I can accomplish.
1. Learn to make Rosary Beads
Ever since I attended my first Rosary Guild meeting I’ve been itching to learn how to properly construct a string of Rosary Beads. At the meeting we were just organizing already constructed beads and placing them into bags. We then constructed kits for people to bring home to create rosary beads. I tried to take a kit but since I didn’t know how to make them they wouldn’t allow me to take the bag home. I decided to get some of the supplies myself from Hobby Lobby. There are multiple websites that teach you how to properly tie the difficult Rosary knots.
2. Finish the art projects I’ve been procrastinating with…
There was a Sip and Paint that I really wanted to attend but I was forced to miss it. They were painting a peacock with many feathers. I just really liked the bright colors and the cute little peacock. I took a picture of the painting, so the balls in my court.
I also have a few string art projects that I’ve been meaning to finish.
A collection of four Pokemon: Pikachu, Charmander, Squirtle and Bulbasaur.
Which I think will be a nice addition to our game wall. As well as a secret present (moreonthattofollow).
And last but not least, I have some inspirational/favorite quotes to design.
Wish Me Luck
