This is going to be another picture heavy post.
There are just so many beautiful sites that this country has to offer,
I can’t help but share what we’ve experienced.
including pit stops, gas stops and food,
it took us about 7 hours.
Have you heard of that sniper in Phoenix?
I’m pretty sure he’s been caught, but last week everyone was terrified for us.
The bridge above took us into Scottsdale
and Scottsdale was where we rested our paws for the night.
I was specifically searching for dog friendly hotels en route and found the perfect one in Scottsdale, AZ.
Firesky Resort and Spa
We thought we’d treat ourselves and poor Annie since she was cooped up all day.
But the prices were much better than the following photos may imply.
Annie met a new friend
Annie thoroughly enjoyed our guest room
after our absolutely scrumptious breakfast, we repacked the car and drove the rest of the way to our new home…
well, it’s a long story and I don’t really want to jinx us but at the moment we are staying with Stan’s good friend’s Manny’s house with her adorable little dog, Zek. He’s was a bit uneasy at first, but now him and Annie are the best of friends. I’m hoping he’ll teach Annie a few tricks, like the joys of cuddle time.
Manny took us on a quick tour of our new Post and surrounding town and so far, I really like it! I don’t want to get my hopes up…and I’m terribly afraid of bumping into a tarantula.
But I think we’re going to be happy here.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t explore long, since fortunately, we were traveling back East for
Elise’s Wedding Day Extravaganza!
thank you for reading!
I hope you’re having an amazing week!!
PS Happy Birthday, Sparky!
